Clinical Background
Sarah Possié is a Registered Midwife with over 16 years of clinical experience in reproductive and women’s healthcare.
She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Possié Integrative Medicine — a progressive private clinic delivering trauma-informed, systems-based women’s healthcare within a clinically governed framework.
Sarah trained and worked within one of Ireland’s busiest maternity hospitals — the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin, where over 10,000 babies are delivered annually.
She has also worked across:
Fertility clinics
Sexual health services
Lecturing in Universities including UCD & DCU
The Dublin Well Woman Centre
In these high-volume environments, she developed deep clinical expertise in women’s health — while also recognising the limitations of time-restricted, symptom-led care.

Why This Work
Through her experience in both medical and holistic settings, Sarah identified a gap in women’s healthcare.
She saw:
Women receiving repeated treatment without resolution
Symptoms managed, but not fully understood
Limited time to explore the complexity of women’s health
She also saw that many holistic approaches offered depth — but often lacked clinical structure, safety, and governance.
Possié Integrative Medicine was created to bridge that gap.
The Experience She Provides
Sarah is known for combining clinical precision with a calm, regulated presence.
She creates an environment where women feel:
Safe
Heard
Respected
Clear
Patients often describe their experience as:
“The first time everything has been properly explained”
“I finally feel understood”
Clinical Ethos
Care is:
Structured
Collaborative
Clinically grounded
Delivered without rush or hierarchy
Women remain the authority over their own bodies.
Sarah brings the clinical expertise to support that authority.
