Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to book?

No referral is required.
You can book directly for either the Women’s Systems Consultation or the Gut Reset Pathway.

If you are currently under GP, consultant, or fertility care, we are happy to work alongside your existing team within appropriate clinical governance frameworks.

Which appointment should I book?

If you’re unsure, here’s a simple guide:

Women’s Health Initial Consultation (90 mins — €250)

Best for:

  • Hormonal concerns (PMS, PMDD, irregular cycles)

  • Fertility or preconception

  • Perimenopause / menopause

  • Recurrent BV or thrush

  • Mood, anxiety, ADHD linked to hormones

  • Complex or ongoing symptoms

Gut Reset Pathway (90 mins — €150)

Best for:

  • Bloating

  • Constipation or sluggish bowels

  • IBS-type symptoms

  • Digestive discomfort

  • Starting point for gut-focused support

What happens at the first appointment?

Your appointment is structured, in-depth, and unhurried.

For the Women’s Systems Consultation, we assess:

  • Hormonal history and cycle patterns

  • Digestive function

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Lifestyle and metabolic factors

  • Previous investigations

  • A full examination — depending on what is required e.g. vaginal examination, abdominal palpation

You will leave with:

  • A clear understanding of your symptoms

  • Insight into why they are happening

  • A structured plan with next steps

For the Gut Reset Pathway, you will receive:

  • A focused consultation

  • Colonic hydrotherapy treatment

  • Digestive assessment and guidance

Is this suitable if I am already under hospital or fertility care?

Yes.
Many women attend while under consultant, GP, or fertility clinic care.

This clinic does not replace your medical team — it provides structured, systems-based support alongside it.

Are colonic hydrotherapy or IV therapies required?

No.

All treatments are:

  • Clinically indicated

  • Fully explained

  • Agreed collaboratively

Nothing is added without clear reasoning and consent.

Is the clinic trauma-informed?

Yes.
This is central to how we practise.

Appointments are:

  • Unhurried

  • Consent-led

  • Calm and regulated

You remain in control at all times — particularly during intimate procedures.

Psychological safety is a clinical principle here.

Do you prescribe medication?

Prescribing services will be available following completion of the RCSI prescribing qualification (2027), including:

  • Contraception

  • HRT

  • Antibiotics (e.g. BV, thrush, STI treatment)

In the meantime, care is delivered within midwifery scope and clinical governance standards.

If you already have prescribed medications (e.g. Implanon, Depo, B12), these can be administered in clinic — please notify us in advance.

We do prescribe herbal and homoeopathic remedies, as well as supplementation if deemed necessary.

Do you take insurance?

Depending on your provider, consultations may be eligible for reimbursement under women’s health or midwifery services.

We provide:

  • Detailed receipts

  • Clinical documentation

Please check directly with your insurer regarding your specific policy.

What types of concerns do you support?

We commonly support women with:

  • PMS / PMDD

  • Hormonal imbalance

  • Fertility and preconception

  • Perimenopause and menopause

  • Gut dysfunction (bloating, IBS, constipation, diarrhoea)

  • Recurrent BV or thrush
