Your symptoms matter. Your test results matter. But they are not always the whole story.

We look at health through a wider lens — bringing together clinical medicine, midwifery and integrative care while recognising the role of the nervous system, emotional wellbeing, relationships, sexual health and, where it is meaningful to you, spiritual or ancestral experience.

You will be met where you are. No shame. No rushing. No assumption that there is only one way to understand your body.

𓁖

Care That Can Meet You Where You Are.

Sometimes you need a blood test. Sometimes you need an examination, medication or referral. Sometimes you need someone to sit with the whole picture long enough to see what has been missed.

We believe there is a spectrum of medicine, and good care is knowing what is appropriate, when — from conventional investigation and treatment to nutrition, lifestyle and complementary approaches.

Services

You do not always need to know exactly what you need before you arrive. Some straightforward services can be booked directly; ongoing, recurrent or more complex concerns are best explored through a consultation.

DocOnCall

We believe in collaboration, not separation. That’s why we work in conjunction with Doc On Call, providing access to experienced medical doctors for clinical oversight and additional medical support when required.

Where clinically appropriate, this collaborative approach enables access to medical assessment, prescriptions and referrals, including support with contraception, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), antibiotics and other treatments.

Our philosophy is simple:
healthcare should never be either/or.

Our Medical Director is Dr Muhammad Javed.

About Sarah

Midwife. Women’s Health Clinician. Founder & Clinical Director

I’ve spent more than 16 years caring for women across maternity, fertility, sexual health, women’s health, teaching and private practice.

And throughout those years, I kept seeing the same divide: Clinical or holistic. Science or intuition. Medicine or whole-person care.

I never believed women should have to choose.

I want the blood test and the conversation. The clinical investigation and the time to understand the wider story.

Evidence-based medicine, alongside care that recognises the nervous system, lived experience and the person sitting in front of me.

So I built the place I wanted to exist.

Women’s Health & Gut Clinic is a midwife-led, trauma-informed, integrative clinic where periods, hormones, bowel movements, sex, vaginal discharge, fertility, anxiety and everything in between can be talked about without embarrassment or shame.

We treat the whole story with clinical skill, nervous system awareness, and zero shame.

“I had a consultation with Sarah after going to my doctors so many times over the same thing and it wasn’t going away i came across women’s health & gut clinic on TikTok and made an appointment as soon as I could, when I went to my appointment Sarah went into every little detail to try get to the bottom of what was happening and it is so much better after one visit. Sarah gave me so much advice & reassurance about everything and made me feel so comfortable and clam.”

“Sarah was very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Most importantly, I felt truly listened to and taken seriously. She took the time to understand my symptoms and recommended the appropriate blood tests to get a clearer picture of my health. I left the consultation feeling heard, supported and reassured that I was in good hands.”

Patricia

“Having the consultation over the phone saved me a long trip to Dublin. From the very beginning Sarah was incredibly accommodating and understanding. What really stood out to me was how knowledgeable and thorough she was. She was able to connect all of my different ailments and clearly explain how they could all be linked together, which no one had ever done for me before she also provided a comprehensive list of tests that could help finally get me closer to a diagnosis. Nothing was ever a problem and I felt truly listened to and cared for throughout the entire process.”

Caroline

“My sessions with Sarah have been fantastic. Sarah has made me feel comfortable, safe and at ease in a gorgeous environment. She is a wealth of knowledge, welcoming and I love the blend of her medical and spiritual experience, a balance which is helping me greatly”
